Chiropractic adjustments
Targeted, low-force adjustments to relieve nerve pressure and restore motion in joints that have stiffened up. We choose the technique to match you, not the other way around.
Dr. Dirk Weddle has spent 27 years helping Irvine patients recover from pain, injury, and accidents. He knows what recovery feels like firsthand.
27 years in practice Most insurance accepted New patients welcome
Before chiropractic, Dr. Weddle raced motocross and sport bikes at the amateur level with sponsors. In one race, he shattered his pelvis. The recovery was long. What got him back, most of the way back anyway, wasn't a prescription. It was chiropractic care, smart movement, and time.
Dr. Weddle's racing days
"Recovery isn't only about taking the pain away. It's about helping the body find its own balance again."
That experience shapes how he treats patients today. Pain is exhausting. Losing the things you love doing is worse. He's interested in why something hurts, not just where. Nutrition, posture, movement patterns, the whole picture. Patients aren't a chart. They're someone going through what he went through.
He graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1999 and has been treating Orange County patients ever since.
No two backs are the same. Treatment is matched to what's actually going on. Gentle when it needs to be gentle, hands-on when it needs to be hands-on.

Whiplash, herniations, soft-tissue trauma, post-collision pain that shows up days later. We document carefully for insurance and rebuild strength alongside the symptoms.
Hands-on release for the tight, ropey muscles that pull joints out of alignment in the first place. Gentle electrical stimulation and traction to calm nerves and decompress the spine.
Cold laser to ease inflammation in stubborn injuries and speed up tissue repair. Focused massage to support adjustments and keep muscles from snapping the spine right back out of place.
Most of the people who walk through the door aren't athletes in crisis. They're desk workers whose neck stopped cooperating around year three of remote work. Surfers and weekend cyclists who tweaked something and can't quite shake it. Parents bending over car seats. Retirees who'd like to keep gardening without paying for it the next morning.
We see auto accident patients in the days and weeks after a collision, when the adrenaline fades and the real pain shows up. We see people who've been managing chronic headaches or sciatica for years and quietly accepted it. We see anyone who'd rather understand what's going on in their body than mask it with another prescription.
What you see is what you get with Dr. Weddle: easy to talk to, quick to laugh, and rarely far from his dog. He's been part of the Irvine community for decades, and he treats patients the way he'd want to be treated himself.
The motocross days are behind him, but the same stubborn, problem-solving streak shows up in how he works through a tough injury. He wants to know the whole story, not just the sore spot.
