"The summer
of 2005 was the beginning of my back problems. I was moving
and attempted to lift one end of a moderately
heavy dresser. It ended up being an odd twist and lift
motion that I immediately felt in my lower back ( best
described as a severe muscle spasm
followed by strong pain that lasted for days). It would seem
to get better over a period of a few days on its own, feeling
fine for weeks at a time, until I lifted something again or
spent time bending over washing my dogs or doing housework.
The
worst came in November of 2007 when after cleaning my house
my back hurt for several weeks. It would hurt most if a sat
with a slightly rounded back and then came to a standing
position. The muscles would spasm and I felt crooked. In
a moment of
desperation to relieve this ongoing pain and discomfort I
attempted to correct the problem while lying in bed by
moving my left
leg in a certain way to "pop" my back into place.
I immediately felt a shooting pain down the back of my left
leg, but my back seemed to feel better. The next day the leg
pain was accompanied by numbness that started on the outside
of my left lower shin, crossed the top of my foot and was strongest
all around and under my big toe. I waited a week to see if
it would just get better on its own, but it did not.
At my first
visit with Dr.Weddle, he knew right away what I was describing
as hip and leg pain was actually caused by aggravating
my lower back injury from 2005. We began a series of back
treatments that involved stretching, icing, adjustments
and electro-stimulation.
During the first week
of treatment the numbness began to subside.
Dr.Weddle told me to expect the pain to get a little
worse before it got better and to just stick with the
treatments.
He was correct about this, too, and within 4 weeks of treatment
I noticed a dramatic improvement in both pain and numbness.
By the fifth week I was able to stop taking painkillers
completely. By week 7, I was nearly pain free and about
98% of the numbness
had subsided." --

History:2007

It all started with daily migraine headaches
and my hands and feet going numb. Initially my doctor thought
it might be a brain tumor, aneurism or MS. At 35 years old I thought
I was going to die. After extensive tests, Cat scans
and MRI’s it was determined I had neither and I was sent
home with pain killers and sleeping pills.
With
no improvement, I was referred to Dirk Weddle. On my first
visit Dr. Weddle immediately noticed a bulge in my back and
began therapy on it. Within two visits I was starting to notice
a difference.
After a month of treatment, I’m
happy to report my headaches are few and far in between and
the numbing is almost completely gone!
Everyone in
Dr. Weddle’s office
is friendly and they are so organized. Everyone seemed to
genuinely care about the patients needs.
I highly recommend
Dr. Weddle. If you are in pain or
have an injury, don’t wait --take care of it now. Life
is so much better when you’re living pain free!

I wanted to thank you for helping me feel better. My upper back and neck have been hurting for about a month with the pain sneaking up on me until I realized it was causing headaches and loss of energy.
I saw you last Friday and again yesterday, Monday, and today I can feel such an improvement! The pain is almost completely gone and I have much better mental clarity.
I'm so glad I went to see you; I can't wait to see you on Friday.
